Lisa is a whole-brain thinker who gets just as excited about script, mood, and story as she does about spreadsheets, contracts, and logistics. Previously a senior attorney at a global law firm, she represented Fortune 100 companies and artists alike in trademark, copyright, and entertainment law. Observing the challenges artists face while navigating the entertainment business inspired her to help filmmakers do what they do best through her legal and operational expertise.
Since transitioning to film production, Lisa has produced award-winning features, shorts, and commercials, in addition to post-producing network promos and episodic series for major linear and streaming platforms. Her work has been selected for screening at SXSW, Tribeca, Toronto, and Telluride, among others.
As a producer, she brings a sense of calm to any production, balancing the diligence of her professional experience with the often unpredictable and changing creative demands of the project. Her approach is guided by the maxim that there are no bad ideas, only bad execution; and she would add that good execution requires meaningful collaboration and a good deal of listening.
